Joshua Waugh

Joshua Waugh is a Brisbane-based Director of Photography and Cinematographer working across commercial, documentary, and narrative film. Joshua works with directors, agencies, and brands, as well as organisations in agriculture, energy, mining and other regional industries.

Originally trained as a stills photographer, Joshua approaches cinematography with a strong foundation in composition, light, and visual storytelling. His work is shaped by a careful attention to detail and an instinct for capturing moments as they unfold. Whether working on a documentary set or a controlled commercial environment, he brings a calm and practical approach to problem-solving while maintaining a strong visual intent.
